Thirteen years and counting,
not one damn thing has changed.
You are still playing games,
Every person a chess piece,
on the silver board of life,
but you don’t give a damn,
as long as you win
at any price.
Every person a chess piece,
unaware of your little game.
Like trout in a pond with the
fisherman out of sight.
Dope is the elixir along with lyrics
in the music blared.
Your chess pieces mesmerized
and unaware.
You pick each chess piece off,
thru your little games played,
not caring who you hurt.
Everything positive you turn to
the polar opposite.
Keeping the chess pieces stymied
and unaware.
Some are waking up
but you just keeping picking them off
with no repercussions
for your evil deed.
I’m not into hope porn,
I’ve been thru to damn much.
The only way to turn the tide,
is to work thru the heart.
Heart energy opens to the Divine,
of which you are aware.
Only by working thru the heart energy
will then the tide turn.
For those of you who are reading this,
and are sitting on the fence,
not sure which way to go –
CONSIDER THIS:
Do you want to have a life affirming way,
thru peace, love, compassion, and harmony?
I cannot make the decision for you for sure,
but step back and truly consider,
