Dream:

“I” was looking for and trying on sandals, wanted a particular pair and was happy with them because “I” needed comfort not style. The next thing “I” am watching what appears to be strange prehistoric birds gliding over Santa Monica near the intersection of Wilshire and Ocean Ave. They were gliding from North to South and it was night, probably between 8-10PM. “I” am trying to keep an eye on them as they disappear over the buildings.
“I” look down towards Ocean Ave, L.A.P.D. was in hot pursuit of these birds along with some other cars. Once (car) appeared to be a reporter driving and jotting down notes. This appeared to be occurring in the 1950s sometime. So the next thing “I” see is L.A.P.D. is scaling up a power pole and nabbing one of the birds sitting on a power line. As L.A.P.D. grabs the bird, I wake up.
I note at the time: The dream was like watching an old movie. The birds were really strange. The funny thing was seeing L.A.P.D. in hot pursuit and the reporter was wearing one of those hats that they used to wear, in an old battered car, jotting down info as he was driving. The birds shape, that were flying, were in the shape of a Japanese fan that has a stick attached to it – get rid of the stick that would be the back of the bird and that was their shape. Just simply strange. Probably about 20 or so birds.
(Comment: Have no idea what this is about, or why I had the dream. Absolutely clueless).
