Things to Consider When In Nature

Things to consider when out in nature:

When you go out in the forest, go with a group of people.  Agree with the group ahead of time, that if the environment changes causing an uneasy feeling and/or the forest sounds stop, that collectively you will leave the area.  Remember you can always try to figure out later what you made you sense that something was “off”.  The general idea is to stay together no matter what and not let someone leave the group alone.

If with a child (children) make sure you do not get distracted through some sort of emotional interchange and/or incident, causing you to turn your attention away from your child (children).   Make sure that someone that is trusted has eyes on your child (children) who will not become distracted through social interaction and/or through the ingestion of alcohol and/or drugs.
