What I Do While Waiting for the World to Change.

Update as of November 16, 2019

Completed the last drawing shown in previous mosaic layout and include a new one that I have just completed.  The new one I just completed is appears to be some sort of pheasant. This particular drawing was only of the bird, no foliage or design included.  In these cases you can let the drawing stand along or create your own background which I did in this case.  The current coloring project is the last two pictures, showing the progress and now completion.  I hope this inspires you to find a creative outlet in your life.

 

I thought I would share with you a relaxing past time I pursue while waiting for the world to change.  I have a adult coloring book that I use coloring pencils to create mini works of art.  The last picture is the one I am currently working on.

“Beautiful Birds and Treetop Treasures” by Millie Marotta.  The cover of the book is the left hand picture of the first row.  No, it is not color by the numbers, it whatever colors you want to use.

If you are trying to cut back or stop using the television, pursuing the hobby of adult coloring book might be a method to unwind and relax.  If you have small children, you could relax coloring  while your children color in their own coloring book or draw.

If you want to get more intense colors in your coloring, an option would be to cut the page out you want to color allowing more control over the coloring process.

So I thought I would share some of what I’ve done, so you can see how creative you can be with an adult coloring book.  The designs in the coloring are purely aesthetic in nature. I hope this inspires you to try something outside of television and the internet.
