Cumberland Mtn State Park is small. There is a camping area as well as cabins. A restaurant is located looking over the lake. However this park was created before large motor homes and fifth wheelers were even imagined. If you are in a large motor home or large fifth wheeler you will have difficulty in navigating in this small but beautiful park.
It would be best just to take a vehicle you are towing or disengage your fifth wheeler for a visit to this state Park. Probably a good idea to call any state Park to make sure your vehicle can be accommodated.
Crossville, Tennessee had a major rain/thunderstorm event last night that resulted in the lake at Cumberland Mtn State Park to fill up. The dam holding back the water is releasing the water at a flow that is only seen when major storms occur. Attached is a short video I made this morning 08/10/2023 of flow from the dam as well as a picture of the lake that is at a higher level. Cumberland Mtn State Park is a short trip on 127 going south outside of Crossville, Tennessee. It is a beautiful park that you might want to stop and visit if you are in this area
