Its an inversion, but learned behavior to get satisfaction/pleasure from someone else’s stress. That is why they start on the children (ritualistic abuse) when they are two to three years old. That is the age when empathy, compassion, and learning about emotion comes into play. So that behavior (ritualistic abuse) has to be acknowledged, and then broken if it is to stop (the behavior of getting satisfaction/pleasure from someone else’s stress).

(COMMENT: It is a type of controlling mechanism. Most of the time as the child grows into adulthood they have no real memory of the abusive events. They are more easily controlled through self-interest (reptilian brain) to behave towards humans in a negative manner since they lack what would be considered normal emotions such as compassion, empathy, and sympathy. It’s how the one-percent maintain their control).
